Mini Rig: Cutting Costs

We installed a total of 48 no. CFA piles using our Klemm 709 piling rig. By using a smaller rig, we were able to minimise the cost and disruption of installing a heavy piling mat that would have been needed for a larger conventional rig. For many schemes of this nature, by utilising a mini piling rig, we are able to reduce the preparation and attendance works associated with the piling, enabling the project to save both cost, time and provide real savings in carbon emissions.

All works were completed on time and budget for a satisfied customer. Shortly after completion, we started a larger scheme for Carter & Ward at Wick Meadow, providing similar benefits.
