GSS Geostructural Solutions Limited was founded in 2004 and GSS Piling Limited was founded in 2006. Both were acquired by the Morrisroe Group in 2019. Together they provide a specialist design and build service in relation to large diameter and restricted access piling, structural underpinning, structural openings and small to medium sized basement structures (often under existing buildings).
GSS has built a strong track record of delivering sustainable and innovative piling and geostructural solutions for a wide span of ground conditions in the commercial, public, infrastructure and high-end residential sectors. It operates across London and the South- East, the Midlands and neighbouring regions.
GSS has the capability to deliver large and small-scale civil engineering and piling projects ranging in size from £10,000 up to £5 million.
The Company has its own in-house design capability, provided through Geostructural Solutions, and operates a plant fleet of 12 modern piling rigs.
Flagship schemes include the new Sky Innovation Centre, where GSS were contracted by ISG to deliver piling, and Crown House, where GSS constructed the foundations for an 18 storey tower block.
